…or holiday as it’s also known.
so basically, i am tanner, and fairly well-relaxed. i had a great time with the wife and kid.
i’ve got a couple of hundred pictures to mull over and pick out favorites. it was great to have a camera (my 20d) that was ready to rock and roll with whatever i wanted to do, creatively. i took a lot of HDR brackets, and a handful of panoramics, and will be futzing around with them. all of the good stuff will make its way up to flickr, and if i stumble upon some good techniques i’ll post ‘em here.

Welcome back, dude! I’m a little late coming to your site so you already have some pics up, but don’t forget to repost your flickr link so we don’t have to search for it!
you DO see the tab at the top of the screen, right?
right next to ABOUT.. it says “FLICKR GALLERY”
What tab…?
Oh! That tab! See how perceptive I am?!?
Dude, I don’t have any goddamn idea how flickr works. I imagined that you had like a gazillion flickr galleries, each devoted to a different topic. I don’t know why I imagined that. Maybe because if I had designed flickr, that’s how it would work and it might also be uber-complicated in other ways, like it would automatically convert your pictures into text-pictures and that would be the default, and maybe to view a picture you would have to answer some trivia about the history of shoelaces.
well, i DO have a certain number of flickr “Sets” that i use to group similar pictures together, and they DO allow you to view a slideshow of those sets if you wish.
ascii art, though very, very cool, is not available as a rendering method on flickr. yet.
