   I take it from Crissy’s comment that all this is not far from where you live. That rocks. Yet I feel like, without your eye filtering these scenes, these scenes would not command my attention as much.

   Beautiful pictures. Yes, somber. But that last picture in particular is just magical. The depth of field just explains everything.

   that was taken with a setup worth about $800… $400 for the used canon 20d and $400 for the used tamron 17-50 f/2.8.

   if you go used you can get some incredible bang for the buck.
