i thought i’d share some of the back end stuff… hey, i like reading about it on other people’s blogs, so what the hell?

we’ll go alphabetically through the plugins:

Akismet. does anybody use a different spam blocker?

All in One SEO Pack. simple and easy SEO optimizer. it works, too.

BackUpWordPress. another staple of a good blog back end. quietly does its job every night, and emails me the jobs.

Dofollow. why not send a little SE traffic back to your contributors?

Executable PHP widget. useful little patch to run php code in your sidebar widgets.

Google XML Sitemaps. help google help you.

StatPress. decent little stats collector.

those are the commonly used ones so far. i am still battling with a image management interface. right now i have gallery 2 set up, and its ok i suppose, but it also disappoints me sometimes. it seems a bit too sprawling for what i need it for. maybe if i actually knew how to code in php and css i could integrate it a bit better, but who the fuck has time for all that?
